Characters are divided into three groups: 12 romanceable villagers (10 available from the start, plus the secret/story candidates Seridia and Caldarus), 14 regular townsfolk, and 8 Saturday Market vendors who appear only on Saturdays. Romance progresses through heart levels raised by daily gifts and dialogue, with heart events unlocking along the way.
