Core Mechanics

Every villager has favorite (loved) gifts and items they merely like or dislike. Gifting is limited to once per day per character, and a loved gift on a birthday gives the largest friendship boost of all. Gift preferences are tied to each character’s personality — ore for the blacksmith March, cooked meals for the dragon guardian Caldarus, gemstones for the merchant Balor, and mushroom brews for the sorceress Juniper.
